Keynote speaker Dennis Snow to share insight on service excellence at 57th Annual Convention

World-renowned consultant and speaker Dennis Snow will guide practitioners toward achieving service excellence during his Nov. 19 keynote speech at the 57th Annual Convention in San Antonio, Texas.

Snow's presentation, "Service Excellence in Veterinary Practice: It Does Matter," will be held during Saturday's Opening Session. Pulling from leadership principles he developed during 20 years working for the Walt Disney World Company®, Snow will inspire equine veterinarians to integrate service-oriented behaviors into the culture of their practices. Snow's tips, engaging stories and proven business methods will lead practitioners to improving overall client satisfaction. Snow’s principles are applicable to practice managers, associates and employees.

Snow began career at Disney in 1979 as a front-line attractions operator. He advanced through the company and managed various operating areas throughout the park, learning and applying the skills it takes to run a world-class, service-driven organization. He launched a division of the Disney Institute responsible for consulting with some of the world’s largest companies including Exxon, AT&T, General Motors and Coca Cola.

Snow also spent several years with the Disney University, teaching corporate philosophy and business practices to cast members and the leadership team. He coordinated the Disney Traditions program, which is universally recognized as a benchmark in corporate training. In his last year with Walt Disney World®, Snow's leadership performance was ranked in the top three percent of the company's leadership team.

Today, Snow is a full-time speaker, trainer and consultant who helps organizations achieve goals related to customer service, employee development and leadership. He is the author of the book, Lessons from the Mouse:  A Guide for Applying Disney World's Secrets of Success to Your Organization, Your Career, and Your Life and co-author of Unleashing Excellence: The Complete Guide to Ultimate Customer Service.
